What is it about Australians and our love of sport? Maybe it’s the underdog spirit. Maybe it’s the way we rally behind the green and gold. Or perhaps it’s the incredible way our athletes continue to perform on the world stage, reminding us what this relatively small nation can achieve. The Commonwealth Games have given us yet another reason to celebrate, with Australians producing remarkable performances across the competition. And with Brisbane 2032 on the horizon, there’s a growing sense that we’re witnessing the next generation of Australian sporting greats emerge before our eyes.
Here at TLS, we’ve been lucky enough to have a front row seat to many of those moments. It was a month to remember for our athletes, with standout performances from Jemima Montag, Claudia Hollingsworth, Tilly Kearns and Aiva Anagnostiadis and with some exciting news from Molly Taylor just around the corner, there’s plenty more to look forward to.
Beyond the sporting arena, our expert talent has been just as busy. From major media appearances and new partnerships to thought leadership, events and campaigns that are making a real impact, it’s been another month showcasing the depth and breadth of expertise across the TLS family.
There’s plenty to celebrate in this month’s edition, so scroll on for the latest from our athletes, experts and the brands they’re helping inspire.
Til next month,

TLS SPORT

It has been a huge month for the TLS Sport family, with our athletes delivering outstanding performances across the globe. The Commonwealth Games delivered plenty to celebrate, and we couldn’t be prouder of racewalker Jemima Montag and middle-distance runner Claudia Hollingsworth on their Commonwealth Games performances.
Jemima Montag etched her name further into Australian sporting history, successfully defending her Commonwealth Games 10km race walk title to claim back-to-back-to-back gold medals and cement her place among the nation’s greatest race walkers.
Meanwhile, Claudia Hollingsworth became part of Commonwealth Games history, claiming bronze in the women’s mile as Australia completed a remarkable clean sweep of the podium in the final event and one of the defining moments of the Games. Performances like these are exactly why the future of Australian athletics looks so bright as we build towards LA 2028 & Brisbane 2032.
Meanwhile, back in Sydney, the Water Polo World Cup showcased the growing momentum behind the sport in Australia. With packed crowds creating an incredible atmosphere and the Aussie Sharks & Stingers capturing the nation’s attention, the tournament was a powerful reminder of just how exciting the future of water polo is. At the heart of it all was Tilly Kearns, who was a regular face across ABC News and Wide World of Sports in the lead up to and throughout the tournament before helping the Stingers secure a well-deserved bronze medal.
The celebrations continued at the Water Polo Australia Gala Dinner, where Tilly was named Senior Female of the Year. Making the occasion even more memorable, the evening was hosted by fellow TLS athlete Ellie Cole, making it a special TLS moment as two remarkable women from the TLS family took centre stage.
In motorsport, Aiva Anagnostiadis continues to show why she’s one of Australia’s brightest young racing talents. In her debut GT4 campaign, Aiva has wasted no time making an impression, claiming two podium finishes across the opening three rounds of the Italian GT4 Championship. It’s an extraordinary return after the injury that cut short her 2025 season and further proof of the pace, composure and determination that have seen her rise through the ranks so quickly. Now, with the European summer break underway, Aiva has a well earned chance to reset before the championship resumes at Imola, where we’ll be cheering her on as she looks to climb another step on the podium.
Still in Italy, diver Ellie Cole added to her impressive international season, claiming gold and bronze at the Bolzano diving meeting. Balancing elite sport with her studies at Stanford University, Ellie continues to establish herself as one of Australia’s brightest young diving talents.
Looking ahead, Shae Graham and the Australian Steelers head to Brazil for the World Wheelchair Rugby Championships (15–24 August), carrying strong form after their bronze medal performance at the World Wheelchair Rugby Challenge earlier this year. We’ll be proudly cheering Shae and the team on as they take on the world’s best.
Away from competition, Claudia Hollingsworth joined Chloe Dalton on The Female Athlete Project podcast for a candid conversation that went well beyond the track. Despite still being just 21 years old, Claudia speaks with remarkable maturity about rebuilding confidence after setbacks, her commitment to sustainability, her love of the outdoors and why Australian athletics is in such a strong position for the future. It’s a thoughtful and inspiring conversation that showcases the perspective and maturity behind one of Australia’s brightest young athletes.
And finally, there’s never been a better time to discover Molly Taylor‘s remarkable story, with Drive Like a Girl now available to watch on Foxtel. The documentary follows Molly’s trailblazing journey through the world of motorsport and offers an inspiring look at the determination, resilience and passion that have shaped her career. Off the track, Molly also sparked an important conversation this month, sharing a deeply personal reflection on the realities of building a career as a professional racing driver while navigating pregnancy. Her honest perspective highlighted the unique challenges many female athletes face as they balance elite performance with starting a family. With Molly and partner Dan preparing to welcome their first child next month, we can’t wait to meet the newest member of the TLS family – already affectionately known around the office as ‘Mini MaD’.
TLS EXPERTS

The conversation around body image affects every generation. That’s why we were so proud to see Dr Preeya Alexander join the Butterfly Foundation and Instagram’s Enter the Chat: A Generation Exchange series. Bringing together voices from Gen Z through to Baby Boomers, the campaign explored how society, culture and social media shape the way we see ourselves, and the role each generation can play in fostering healthier, more positive conversations around body image. Joining an outstanding panel of Australians, Preeya drew on both her medical expertise and lived experience to contribute to an important national conversation that’s well worth watching.
Have you got questions about health? Dr Ginni Mansberg has the answers. She’s the new co-host of Mamamia’s Well podcast alongside Cathrine Mahoney, tackling everything from the latest health headlines and wellness trends to listeners’ most awkward (and entertaining) questions with her trademark blend of evidence-based advice and humour.
Ginni was also part of an expert panel at the launch of Energizer Ultimate Child Shield, joining families, industry leaders and fellow advocates for an event focused on raising awareness of coin lithium battery safety. Complete with a special performance by Emma Memma, it was a thoughtful reminder of the important role education, innovation and trusted experts play in helping protect Australian families.
Women’s health advocate Shelly Horton continues to use her platform to drive important conversations around perimenopause, sharing her personal story in both Sunday Life and Costco magazine to help more women feel seen, informed and empowered. Shelly also proudly emceed the Australian launch of Conquering Breast Cancer, a powerful documentary highlighting women’s stories, medical advances and the ongoing need for better access to care. And, proving she can seamlessly switch from serious to silly, Shelly and husband Darren have been having plenty of fun creating a series of entertaining campaigns for Enjo’s chemical-free cleaning range. Keep following Shelly & Enjo‘s IG pages for more wildly entertaining cleaning moments.
Plant-powered chef Simon Toohey is as passionate about food sustainability as he is about great food, making him the perfect fit for IKEA’s ‘Waste Less, Contain More’ campaign. Simon visited the Today Extra set last week and spent some time in IKEA’s Sydney stores sharing practical tips to help Australian households reduce food waste and get more from every meal.
Psychiatrist Dr Kieran Kennedy has been sharing his expertise across multiple platforms this month. He joined Luke & Scott on the Luke and Sassy podcast to unpack Scott’s recent ADHD diagnosis, helping separate fact from fiction and providing valuable insight into adult ADHD. Kieran also partnered with Amazon Kindle on its My Kindle, My Way campaign, helping shine a light on the hidden cognitive challenges that can interrupt reading and the importance of creating reading experiences that support focus, confidence and lifelong learning.
