‘Tis the season to be jolly and doing what we love!
Yep, here at TLS, we’re finishing the year exactly as we started it – with a flurry of work. It’s been a massive 12 months, and we’re focused on getting our talent set and ready for what is sure to be a big 2025.
December is rollover season where we have an opportunity to reflect on key partnerships for our talent throughout the year and work with our clients to understand how we can build on that success for the coming year, and we look forward to sharing the details of those continued partnerships later this month.
As we reflect on the year that’s been, we’ve been thrilled to deliver two key announcements in November for the TLS Talent camp so we’re popping the champagne to celebrate:
- After brilliant appearances on ABC’s Q&A and the Health Report, Dr Preeya Alexander will join ABC Radio National’s Health Report next year, alongside the highly respected Dr Norman Swan, a weekly program dedicated to delivering health and medical news; and
- One of Australia’s most successful motorsport talents, rally driver Molly Taylor has been named in Team Australia for the Race of Champions set to take place in Sydney in March 2025. The Race of Champions is one of the world’s most exciting motorsport competitions and will see Molly going head to head with the biggest names in motorsport – including the likes of four-time F1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel and nine-time FIA World Rally Champion Sebastian Loeb!
On the health front, Movember has officially wrapped after another successful campaign. Psychiatrist Dr Kieran Kennedy, a leading advocate for men’s health issues, says: “More than ever before we’re seeing how vital it is that men are connecting with just how important it is to stay on top of what’s happening with our health, inside and out.”
And tomorrow is another very important day of the year – International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Paralympian and disability advocate Ellie Cole says “International Day of Persons with Disabilities is my favourite day of the year. It’s a powerful reminder to celebrate diversity, challenge the way we think, and create a world where everyone’s abilities are unique and valued.”
I’ll be popping back into your inboxes later this month to wrap up the year and share details of how to contact our team during our office close dates (Monday 23 December – 6 January).
Til then,
