TLS Talent

DEC 2025 – TIS THE SEASON FOR CONNECTION

As December rolls in, I’m doing what I always do at this time of year; taking a breath and looking around at the people who’ve made the last 12 months what they were. It’s the perfect moment to pause and take stock, and every year I’m reminded how fortunate I am to work alongside such an extraordinary group of humans.

When I think about “family”, it’s not just the one we’re born into, it’s the family we build. For me it’s our TLS Talent family – the incredible experts and athletes who trust me not only with their careers, but with the huge milestones in their lives: the weddings, the babies, the moves across the world, the breakthroughs, the pivots, the challenges and the wins.

This year more than any other, I’ve seen our talent genuinely champion one another – collaborating in unexpected ways, sharing opportunities, showing up from the sidelines and forming friendships. That sense of connection has always been at the heart of TLS, and I’m buoyed by it every single day.

As we start the final run into 2025, I’m grateful for every milestone, every late night email, every stage, race, interview, panel, book draft, shoot and story that’s come to life – but mostly for the humans behind them.

We’ll be back with one last wrap up before we switch off for a well earned break, but for now, here’s a snapshot of what our TLS family has brought to life as the year draws to a close.

TLS EXPERTS

The only thing better than one TLS expert is three. Last month nutritional scientist Dr Joanna McMillan, women’s health advocate Shelly Horton and habit-change scientist Dr Gina Cleo came together for a powerful panel titled “Let’s Talk About Weight”, launching new national research into Australians’ lived experiences of weight and health. It was an honest, compassionate and much-needed discussion – one that cut through stigma and brought evidence, empathy and real perspective to a topic often avoided.

A huge congratulations to Dean Ipaviz on the launch of The Built Environment Podcast. It’s been two years in the making and is a major step in his mission to help us build smarter, better and more sustainably. A brilliant achievement.

If you’re looking for inspiration to recharge, Shelly Horton delivered a beautiful segment on Ten’s Well Traveller, exploring a fresh take on wellness in the Hunter Valley.

And finally welcome home to Dr Nikki Stamp. After three years in London, she’s back in Australia and back with her TLS family. Nikki, we are happy to have you home.

TLS SPORT

It wasn’t only our experts coming together for a TLS collaboration this month. Four of our finest came together for a gorgeous Emma Sleep campaign, with Tilly KearnsClaudia Hollingsworth and Mariafe Artacho del Solar showing how quality rest fuels performance – and chef Simon Toohey joining them to bring his signature humour to the campaign.

Aiva Anagnostiadis is back in Australia for a whirlwind few weeks – helping launch the F1 Exhibition which opened in Melbourne last week, ticking off her driving test (which seems crazy for our F1 Academy driver) and fitting in a full media run.

Ellie Cole continues to carve out an exceptional post-swimming career. This month she was announced as an advisor to the W Sport Alliance, and she’ll join Channel 9’s Wide World of Sports team for the Winter Paralympics in Milano Cortina in March 2026; where she’ll be on the ground with our Aussie athletes, sharing their incredible stories and successes.

We’re also celebrating Ellie Cole (Diving), who last week was awarded 2025 Female Diver of the Year at the Australian Diving Awards after an extraordinary season on the international stage. A breakout seventh-place finish in the 10m platform at the Paris 2024 Olympics was followed by double gold at the American Cup, junior national titles, and the 2025 Australian Open 10m Platform Championship. Now studying engineering at Stanford University, she continues to balance elite sport and academic excellence with remarkable composure.

Jemima Montag championed women in sport at the Minerva Victoria Celebration, shining a light on the impact of women across all levels of sport. And Tilly Kearns shared an emotional reflection on her incredible 12 years in water polo – an honest and powerful look at what it means to compete at the highest level.

And finally, a huge moment for Molly Taylor, who heads to the FIA Awards next week in Uzbekistan to celebrate her win in the Extreme H World Cup. A career-defining highlight, and one she’s worked unbelievably hard for.

TLS SPEAKERS

Shelly Horton has had a huge month, with I’m your Peri Godmother receiving rave reviews on the world stage. In true Shelly style, she packed her most fabulous winter woollies and headed over to New York for an international speaking event to celebrate the book. She also found time to meet founder of the We Do Not Care Club Melani Sanders and celebrated a milestone achievement – reaching 100K followers on Instagram – a true testament to the incredible community she has created.

Dr Kieran Kennedy, a long-time advocate for men’s health, was right in his element during Movember; delivering a range of webinars including one for Bupa covering prostate, testicular and bowel health; breaking down some big topics with his trademark clarity and care.

Jaime Rose Chambers brought her nutrition expertise to the DC Lactose Intolerance Masterclass, while Kate Peck delivered a brilliant MC performance at the GAC brand launch with her customary energy, warmth and sharp delivery.

At the Sohn Hearts and Minds conferenceDr Joanna McMillan took to the Sydney Opera House stage alongside Julia Gillard, Anthony Scaramucci and Jim Chalmers, holding her own with insight and ease.
