Why is it that we’re always chasing the next thing?
The next promotion. The next qualification. The next house. The next marathon.
Life has a funny way of convincing us that the next milestone will finally be the one that makes us feel fulfilled. That never-ending quest is something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately, thanks to keynote speaker and author Casey Beros’ upcoming book, More (due for release in November 2026) which explores this very idea. As Casey writes, many of us are wandering around wondering, ‘Is this it?’ The problem isn’t that we keep striving – it’s that we often mistake achievement for fulfilment.
That doesn’t mean giving up on ambition. Far from it. Setting bold goals and chasing them relentlessly is part of what we do at TLS Talent every day. We’re surrounded by people who dream big – athletes chasing Olympic medals, authors writing their next bestseller and experts determined to create meaningful change. Ambition is a wonderful thing.
For me, it’s never been about aiming lower. I’d rather take a big swing and miss than play it safe and spend my life wondering what might have happened if I hadn’t and I’ve spent much of my career doing exactly that. However I am trying to get better at stopping to celebrate the wins – and taking the lessons when things don’t work out – before moving on to the next challenge.
So before we all get back to chasing the next big thing, let’s take a moment to celebrate some of the incredible things our talent have been up to recently.
Til next month,

TLS SPORT

It’s been a pretty special few weeks for Tilly Kearns. Fresh from being crowned MVP of the Spanish women’s water polo league – one of the strongest domestic water polo competitions in the world – Tilly has also celebrated a Spanish National Championship title and re-signed with club CN Mataró for another 12 months, cementing a brilliant season. Now she’s back in the green and gold and on home soil having returned to join her beloved Stingers ahead of the Water Polo World Championships, which returns to Australia for the first time in almost two decades. You can catch all the action later this month (20-26 July). Tickets available here.
MCoBeauty’s sporty girl has officially joined the group chat. We’re thrilled to announce Claudia Hollingsworth’s long-term partnership with MCo Beauty. It’s one of those partnerships that simply makes sense, bringing together one of Australia’s most exciting young athletes with a brand she’s genuinely excited to be part of.
Claudia is currently in St Moritz undertaking a high-altitude training camp as she prepares for a huge European campaign. From there, she’ll contest a series of Diamond League events before lining up for Australia at the Commonwealth Games, where she’ll take on a stacked field in the mile. Along the way, Claudia also sat down with the Trivelo Coaching Podcast to discuss what makes a high-performance athlete and a high-performance coaching partnership successful, offering a fascinating insight into the mindset behind her rapid rise. It’s shaping up to be a huge few months for Clauds, and we can’t wait to follow the journey.
Eight years after claiming her first Commonwealth gold, and four years after defending that title, Jemima Montag returns to Glasgow having overcome injury with another opportunity to do what she loves on one of athletics’ biggest stages. Off the course, long-time partner ASICS has continued to champion Jemima through their Get the Glow campaign with the racewalker sharing content across her social platforms and sitting down for a chat with the Women’s Running Collective. Sharing the message that just 15 minutes of movement each day can clear your head, lift your mood and give you a natural glow, the campaign is a natural extension of Jemima’s authentic approach to health, wellbeing and performance. We couldn’t be prouder of Jemima and can’t wait to cheer her on in Glasgow.
Her first baby might be due next month but Molly Taylor is proving she’s far from taking her foot off the accelerator. As she prepares for a return to racing later this year to defend her FIA Extreme H World Cup title, Molly has partnered with Black Rock Motor Resort, Australia’s newest luxury motorsport destination. The partnership will see Molly work closely with the team as the facility comes to life, whilst also providing a home base for her return to training and competition ahead of the Extreme H World Championships in October.
Away from the track, Molly has been keeping just as busy. She recently joined the Idle Chat team to reflect on her career, resilience and life in motorsport, while today also marks the launch of Supercheap Auto’s annual BPO campaign, with Molly once again showcasing her natural on-camera presence and proving she’s as comfortable in front of the lens as she is behind the wheel. We’re looking forward to cheering Molly on as she embarks on an exciting new chapter – both personally and professionally.
And it seems, the TLS Talent family continues to expand. Alongside Molly’s exciting announcement, Ellie Cole and her partner Silvia recently shared they’re expecting their second child together. Felix is about to become a big brother, and we couldn’t be happier for their growing family. Congratulations, Ellie, Silvia and Felix – we can’t wait to meet the newest addition.om home.
TLS EXPERTS

With the ink barely dry on her book The Fibre Factor, nutritional scientist Dr Joanna McMillan has been hard at work helping Australians make better food choices. She joined celeb chef Justine Schofield to cook up a storm in the Everyday Gourmet kitchen and shared fibre secrets on Crunch Bites, a podcast packed with nutrition advice for kids.
GP Dr Preeya Alexander’s Happy to Health podcast is going from strength to strength. Now in its third season, Preeya is in her element as she makes sense of sunscreen confusion, busts contraception myths and shares another entertaining life chat with surgeon husband, Dr Will Alexander, and so much more. You can access the pod and all of the new episodes here. Italy’s most famous circuits.
TLS SPEAKERS

The weather is cold but our speakers are bringing the heat to events across the country, firing up audiences and making a lasting impact. Simon Toohey gave a plant-powered cooking demonstration at the Hort Connections 2026 event, while Dr Preeya Alexander joined a panel at the University of Melbourne’s MD Student Conference, discussing a topic close to her heart: how doctors can better communicate complex medical information and build public trust.
Habit-change scientist Dr Gina Cleo brought vision (pun intended) to a series of events for contact lens organisation Alcon Lab Precision 7’s Lumiere7 Innovator event, while Dr Joanna McMillan entertained a packed crowd at Waverley Library in Sydney for a public talk on the benefits of fibre.
After taking part in the inaugural Great Sarcoma Plank-a-thon last year, Ellie Cole returned last month as this year’s event MC. A sarcoma survivor herself, the cause is one that’s deeply personal, and Ellie was proud to help raise awareness and support for vital research into a cancer that continues to receive far too little funding.
