MAY 2025 – THE MOMENTUM IS BUILDING

The weather may be cooling down, but things are heating up here at TLS Talent. From standout screen performances to ground-breaking wins in sport and bold new partnerships, our talent have been on fire this month and we couldn’t be prouder.

Our comms to you every month gives us the opportunity to reflect on just how much our team is achieving, and this month is no different. We hope you enjoy reading it.

Til next month,

TLS EXPERTS

A good partnership between talent and brand is a bit like a good marriage – it works better when both parties have shared goals and aligned values. This month, several of our talent have teamed up with brands that are the perfect fit, leading to some great results. We’re excited to share these exciting new collaborations:

  • GP Dr Michela Sorensen is working with Envisage Families, an organisation supporting caregivers of children with developmental concerns
  • GP Dr Preeya Alexander is a proud ambassador for the Department of Health’s Bowel Cancer campaign, promoting access to bowel cancer screening Australia wide
  • GP Dr Ginni Mansberg has partnered with medical equipment company Smith & Nephew as a spokesperson for a caesarean education and awareness campaign
  • Renovation gurus Michael and Carlene Duffy are lighting up social media with #pantrygoals using food storage brand Decor’s new range.

The only thing more satisfying than forging a successful partnership? Getting invited back to do it again! Tradie Bardie Somerville has renewed her ambassadorship with imar insurance and Simon Toohey has cooked up a renewed ambassadorship with Hemp Foods Australia.

On the podcast front, Dr Kieran Kennedy has cemented his role as Australia’s leading expert on adult ADHD, and we highly recommend listening to his interview on the Well podcast. Also worth tuning into: season two of Dr Preeya Alexander’s Happy to Health is live, now proudly supported by AIA Australia.

TLS SPORT

If we had to choose an emoji to represent sprinter Claudia Hollingsworth, it’d be the lightning bolt. After a blistering start to the season, she’s officially locked in for the World Championships in Tokyo later this year. Next up: three big European meets kicking off in late May.

Diver Ellie Cole has made a real splash since joining the TLS family. While Stop One of the Diving World Cup in Mexico didn’t quite go her way, Ellie drew on the experience and came back stronger for Stop Two, in Canada. There, she made the ‘super finals’ for both individual and synchro women’s 10m platform events, and is now preparing for Stop Three in China.

Tilly Kearns is returning to Australia this month after a successful season with the University of Southern California’s water polo squad. Back home, she’ll be preparing for the upcoming World Aquatic Champs in Singapore, where the Stingers team will demonstrate exactly why they’re Olympic medallists.

Shae Graham has a huge month coming up, first up competing in the 2025 Santos Wheelchair Rugby World Challenge in Adelaide from 29 May to 1 June (go Steelers!). And then – because achieving captaincy in one wheelchair sport wasn’t enough, Shae will ALSO be competing for Victoria in the women’s wheelchair basketball league, kicking off following the rugby world challenge. Is there anything she can’t do?!

Finally, upcoming motorsport talent Aiva Anagnostiadis is having the time of her life since joining the prestigious F1 Academy. After gaining valuable experience at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix last month, Aiva’s ready to take on the Miami Grand Prix this weekend.

Even more exciting, documentary series F1: The Academy is launching in Miami ahead of the race and will be available globally from May 28. These talented young women are finally getting the visibility they deserve on the global stage – and Aiva is right in the thick of it. The series is being produced by Hello Sunshine, actor Reese Witherspoon’s production company, and will be available on Netflix – stay tuned.

TLS SPEAKERS

Our speaking talent are known for owning the spotlight at events, so it’s not surprising that they also feature in the media spotlight regularly. Paralympian-turned-kids-book-author Ellie Cole featured in Good WeekendClaudia Hollingsworth lit up screens on The Back Page and Jemima Montag appeared on Fox Sport to showcase why the Global Alliance for Female Athletes has been established.
