TLS Talent

OCT 2024 – OUR BIG NEWS!! WELCOME TO TLS TALENT

October is here and 2024 continues to keep us on our toes, in the best possible way!

After all today is brand (r)evolution day! Not sure what we mean…. then read on…

Last month, we were fortunate enough to have our very own Tilly Kearns appear at the Mumbrella Sports Summit, an event that really emphasised that “the rise of women’s sport isn’t a moment, it’s a movement”. In a presentation on the day, Dan Collier-Hill and Kim Anderson shared some incredible statistics – including that people are 3.7 times more likely to buy a product endorsed by a woman than a man, and that Deloitte has predicted that elite women’s sport will achieve US$1.28 billion in revenue this year.

BIG NUMBERS & BIG IMPACT – which is why I’m so excited to announce this exciting evolution in our business (drum roll, please!)…

From today, we’ll no longer be known as The Lifestyle Suite. Rather we’re migrating to the new name of TLS Talent with three distinct arms:

  • TLS Sport – representing the new generation of athletes and sporting figures who are shaping the social conversation
  • TLS Experts – the credible evidence-based experts you’ve all come to know and love and that include some of this country’s most loved and recognised names in health and lifestyle
  • TLS Speakers – a specialist speakers’ business working closely with our existing client base, to cultivate more opportunities for our sought-after talent to MC and speak at events.

So why the change?

Our evolution to TLS Talent goes beyond just a name change. Rather it’s a shift in our approach that cements our commitment to fostering excellence and driving opportunities for some of this country’s most exciting, best-loved, influential and up-and-coming athletes including young motorsport star Aiva Anagnostiadis who joins the TLS Sport stable from this week. And the announcements won’t stop there. You can expect even more new talent announcements later this month.

We’re excited about where this new direction will take us, and the incredible opportunities it will deliver for our talent and our clients, so we hope you’ll join us on the journey.

To find out more, visit our new website, join our communities on Instagram and LinkedIn or reach out directly – [email protected]

We’d love to hear from you!

Til next month,

TLS TALENT

The date we’ve been waiting for is almost here: October 14. That’s when SXSW Sydney kicks off, and with three of our stellar talent appearing it’s going to be epic. This week-long prestigious festival is known for bringing together the brightest minds and cultivating innovative ideas in the creative and tech industries, and it’s only the second time SXSW is being run outside of the US (last year’s event almost brought Sydney to a standstill). Kudos to habit change scientist Dr Gina Cleo, Olympic silver medallist Tilly Kearns and rally driving champ Molly Taylor, who have all landed opportunities to present on stage – super exciting! You can still access tickets by clicking the link here.

Simon Toohey is cooking up opportunities on the events front, too. Last month he spoke at the Brisbane Vegan Expo, renewed his partnership as a Hemp Foods Australia ambassador, and is getting ready to wow ACT foodies with cooking demonstrations at the Sustainable Canberra Expo on November 2.

You’d think that Ellie Cole would be seeking some downtime following her brilliant turn as co-host of Channel Nine’s Paralympic coverage but that couldn’t be further from the truth. After welcoming home our Paralympians as MC of the Qantas Welcome Home event last month, Ellie has been travelling all over the country sharing her story, driving awareness of the importance of strong disability advocacy and charming audiences with her wonderful humour in a series of events with corporate partners.

In other fantastic partnerships, Shelly Horton fronted the women’s health Lady Garden event in Toowoomba recently to encourage all women to prioritise their health. She has also teamed up again with fitness and nutrition gurus 28 by Sam Wood and is continuing her stylish relationship with Motto Fashions for another year and has several exciting projects on the horizon in the lead up to World Menopause Day. Stay tuned!

Meanwhile Molly Taylor is driving SUPER results across a series of collaborations with her key partners including this campaign for the launch of Supercheap Auto Trade. And fresh from showing off her silver medal at the Mumbrella Sports Summit, Tilly has been showing off her flair as an entertainer in some hilarious content for YoPRO, centred on life after the Olympics. By the way, how’s your sleep? If you’re not getting enough shut-eye time, check out Dr Preeya Alexander’s sleep series for the ABC’s ‘Sleeptember’ project.
